Material Tribute

This is the first pair of jeans I truly loved. They are original 501's and were purchased "raw" at the Levis store on 14th street in October of 2007. The "extension patch" on the right leg is the product of a great mishap: in an attempt to patch the holey crotch... I cut off the ankle. I mistook the leg of the pants for the discarded pair I wanted to use for patching. I wore them with a missing ankle for about 6 months until I finally had them fixed. They just busted their 4th hole and have begun to decline rapidly. I love you jeans and will miss you when you're finally gone.
